Alrighty, here's just a few things I've done lately...

First, we've got Spawn. The first (and only) picture I've ever done of the guy. I think it's kinda cool. I've always liked Spawn big and bulky, so I tried to make him as solid as possible. Except for the solid black background, it was inked with your regular BIC ballpoint pen (Which I hardly EVER use. Took me a while). Anyway, here ya go:

    333A453B83232327Ffp543Dot3E2323B3D3A53B3D7863DXROQDF3E232343C633A9987ot1lsi

Next, we've got our favorite horror hero, Ash Williams. This was done with a pen that's actually used for writing Kanji, so it has a distinct stroke-like style. I like it. It's colored with watercolors.

    333A453B83232327Ffp543Dot3E2323B3D3A53B3D7863DXROQDF3E232343C633A9963Bot1lsi

Next is a picture of Cyclops I did awhile ago. I found it on my computer, and decided to color it on Photoshop. The arms and legs are a bit funky, but I still think it's cool...

More to come in a sec...

These last four are from a series of basic frontal shots I just started of Hellboy characters. They're basically mixes between the movie and comic designs for the characters. I'll post the rest when I'm done inking them, but for now I just have these four (The other ones I'm not done with are Hellboy, Liz Sherman, Lobster Johnson, Kriegaffe, Johann Krauss, and Rogers Brother).

But yeah, here's the four I have done. I adjusted the levels in Photoshop, so some of the detail may get a bit washed out, but you get the idea. Here ya go:

    Abe Sapien

    Thanks for looking.

Oh, and thanks for all the kind words everyone.

Well, I uploaded some more stuff from my sketchbook. Someone on the white board pointed out that the other ones I previously posted were all virtually in the same pose. So I took some pictures of some pictures with more vareid poses. Take a look:

Here's a goofy superhero I just made up. The proportions are pretty bad (Especially the outstretched arm), but overall I think it's kinda cool looking. This is one my earlier attempts at doing an extreme perspective like that.

    333A46327232327Ffp583Dot3E2323B3D3A53B3D7863DXROQDF3E232343C6474242ot1lsi

    Simple Spider-Man in a made-up costume. I like it.

    333A46327232327Ffp583Dot3E2323B3D3A53B3D7863DXROQDF3E232343C6474244ot1lsi

Nighcrawler. One of my favorites. I actually painted this one with Watercolors too but I can't find it. Oh well.

    333A46327232327Ffp543Dot3E2323B3D3A53B3D7863DXROQDF3E232343C6474245ot1lsi

    A funky grinning monster/alien/creature/something.

    More to come...

Side-by-side black and white original of Ice-Man, along with my photocopy which I painted with watercolors. Another one experiementing with perspective and crap like that. I was also trying to figure out if I could paint ice realistically or not. It turned out okay, methinks.

    333A46327232327Ffp543Dot3E2323B3D3A53B3D7863DXROQDF3E232343C6474249ot1lsi

First Hellboy I ever did. Everything is more jagged here than I draw now...

    333A46327232327Ffp583Dot3E2323B3D3A53B3D7863DXROQDF3E232343C6474252ot1lsi

Another HB. I tried messing with the sort of Frank Miller/Sin City style with this. Heavy shadows, black and white. I even tried some of the "implied lines" that Miller creates (Notice the left hoof). I hate the gun, but certain parts of it I think look real cool (I especially like the Right Hand of Doom here)

    333A46327232327Ffp583Dot3E2323B3D3A53B3D7863DXROQDF3E232343C6474254ot1lsi

I'll probably get up some more later.

The Stripe man! I remember that! Didn't you orginally have 2 characters and then you like, mixed em together or something? Anyway, I've said it on the white board and I'll say it again, you have a great style!
